Educational Consultancy & Management (ECM) Solutions, formerly known as Every Child Matters (ECM) Solutions, established in May 2008 by Rita Cheminais, is a forward thinking, innovative high quality educational research, training and consultancy business that helps you and your organisation to strengthen distributed leadership, team building and collaborative partnerships, through working towards achieving either the national Multi-Agency Partnership Award, the international Achievement through Well-Being Award, and the new national Family Partnership Award, in recognition of your excellent practice in helping children and young people achieve more.

The business is based on a thorough grounding and expertise in strategic leadership and frontline practice within a range of educational settings and local authority services, which promote the inclusion, learning and well-being of a diversity of children and young people.

The business draws upon a network of dynamic experienced associate educational consultants from a variety of professional backgrounds, who are inducted and quality assured.

Personal Profile

Rita is Director of Educational Consultancy & Management (ECM) Solutions, where she leads on an international award focused on collaboration for improving the achievement and well-being of children and young people in supporting the Government’s pupil premium, and on developing distributed leadership to strengthen partnerships and team working via a national Multi-Agency Partnership Award and a new Family Partnership Award.  Her expertise lies in designing, facilitating and delivering tailored bespoke consultancy and training to practitioners and professionals working in a range of educational settings and local authorities, particularly SEN Coordinators, Inclusion Managers, and middle leaders.

Previously Rita was a Principal Adviser for Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Inclusion.  She continues to be an associate school improvement partner in Tameside.

Rita is a renowned author of many publications on SEN, inclusion, multi-agency partnership working, Every Child Matters and pupil voice.  She is a member of NASEN, NAAOSEN and ASPECT, and is a regular keynote speaker at national conferences.

Educated at Liverpool University, Rita is a former teacher, SEN Co-ordinator, OFSTED inspector and local authority school improvement officer.
